Gas Heater Servicing

An unsafe gas heater is a major cause of household fires and can pollute your property with dangerous fumes such as carbon monoxide.

A thorough service of the gas heater by a licensed gasfitter is the best way to prepare for winter and ensure the heater is operating efficiently and safely in the property.

The below gas heater service special does not include ducted gas heating; however we can provide a full service of a ducted gas heater systems for $396 inc GST.

Installing a carbon monoxide detector provides increased protection for your family.

Carbon Monoxide is a poisonous gas. Any fuel burning appliance can produce CO emissions which are colourless, odorless and tasteless. The only way to detect carbon monoxide is by installing a CO alarm.

Our qualified and licensed gasfitters can install a battery operated CO detector and ensure it is operating properly.

The standard gas heater service is based on the heater being in good working order and includes a maximum of 1 hour on site.
Gas heaters that have not been serviced for many years or have excessive dust may incur an additional labour charge of $99 inc GST; this will be communicated prior to any works commencing.
Gas heater service special of $357 inc GST applies to standard gas heaters.
Gas Heaters that are not operational or are unsafe may require fault-finding / investigative works or repairs. The standard $357 inc GST will still apply; a quote for additional labour or materials to repair or replace the gas heater will be provided.
